Since February 2021 I am a doctoral candidate in information science at Åbo Akademi University (and since January 2022 I have the privilege of pursuing my doctoral research on a full-time basis).
My doctoral research project looks into if/how privacy, freedom of speech, and trust in government are related. Since libraries are information dense institutions at the heart of democratic societies, I am looking into librarians’ and library users’ perceptions of the above mentioned topics.
In addition to my doctoral research I also do research on crowdsourcing methodology, especially in relation to data literacy instruction, metadata collection, and citizen science.
Please feel free to explore my publications (academic and other) and my open science declarations.
